She is with us....

GRAHA LAKSHMI

Much more satisfied with the outcome of this portrait and the colour combination, now she is in the hallway entrance smiling and greeting everyone happily.

Hi Anu, this is fabulous, you are bringing in Lakshmi herself through this lovely painting,, especially the way you made her putting her step forward is very very auspicious.. wish you a great time ahead .

Hi Anudeepa,

This is Prabhu from R. Prabhu's Notes (http://rprabhu.blogspot.com) I just came to your site through the comment you posted for my blog post on Avvaiyar.

By looking at this post,I believe that you are painter. Awesome painting! In this painting I see the traits of the great painters C. Kondiahraju and T.S. Subbiah from Kovilpatti. The choice of colours, the richness, the symmetry all seem to align in divine perfection.

Though I am not an artist myself, I really love and am fascinated by the drawings of C. Kondiahraju and T.S. Subbiah.

One thing that I noticed in the painting that is different from the artists I mentioned above, is the eyes. In C. Kondiahraju and T.S. Subbiah pictures, the God's eyes will be drawn in such a way that even if the person moves from side to side, the eyes will appear to always focus the observer. Just my opinion, am not an artist or a qualified person to comment on drawings!

Continue the good work!
